 LAYOUT. Faded Memories
Hey, I tried to make a non-blue layout. It's not my fault it turned out this way -- it just did.
This layout took me quite a while to make. So many images! I think there are seven in total. Plus, it was almost all blending. Lots of layer masks and stuff. I don't think I've done this much blending since..... never. I don't usually do blending; it's not one of my strong points. But for this layout, blending was the only way to go. That or filmstrip, which I didn't like too much because I wanted a softer-ish layout.
This layout features Squall and Rinoa from Final Fantasy VIII. It's a bit like my Memories of Her layout, in that I have one picture of one character (Squall, in this case) and a ton of another (Rinoa). I named it Faded Memories and tried to give the pictures of Rinoa a faded-ish look. Sometimes I think I faded it too much and sometimes I think I didn't fade it enough. (I guess that's the point when I realize it's just right.)
Like the headers? Neat little brushes and some lines added and then more grunge brushes to erase some parts of the line and if you have no idea what I'm talking about that's okay because I'm not sure I do either. And you know what else? This layout has a footer! *does a little dance* Actually, I just took a part of the main image and faded it, then added a the same border thingamajig that's at the top right of the main image and some text. So I'm lazy. Sue me.
Extras! Four avatars (including the one above), a banner, and a couple of buttons. That avatars are all fairly similar; like I said, I'm lazy. Right click >> save picture as to use.
